FAQS

How do I freeze Christmas Cookies?

If you’re freezing cookies, wait until they’ve completely cooled to the touch. Arrange the cooled cookies in airtight boxes. Place aluminum foil or wax paper between each layer of cookies. Separate the layers with aluminum foil or wax paper. Before storing, seal the container and write ” contents” and “date” on it.

Tip: Some cookies freeze better than others. Slice-and-bake, cutouts, drop, bar, and some shaped cookies (thumbprints) freeze well.

Can you mail Christmas Cookies?

Yes, you can mail cookies! You can mail them via USPS, FedEx, and UPS and, depending on how fast you want them to arrive, you can choose expedited shipping. Depending on the kind of cookie you’re sending (whether they are moist or dry), it’s suggested that the package either be labeled “This side up” for wetter muffin-type cookies or “Fragile” when mailing dryer sugar-cookie type of cookies.

What is your favorite Christmas Cookie recipe?

My favorite is my mom’s sugar cookies or my mom’s crunchy gingerbread cookies!
