One of our favorite things to do together is eat good food. Caleb are up for trying something new, but we also have our staple favorites.

Here’s the round-up of this week’s top food & drink indulgences:

 Triskeles Walkers Point, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

We couldn’t miss the anniversary party of one of our favorite restaurants! Congrats to JoLinda and Lynn on many years of success and amazing drinks & eats.

We had Bacon Wrapped Dates, Mushroom Thyme Stew, and Corned Beef and Cabbage.

 Lazy Susan Bay View, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 

After a week jam packed full of sessions we were ready for a tasty dinner date night!

We ordered a bunch of vegetarian appetizers: the Daily Deviled Eggs, Mushroom Bake, Fall (spring) Rolls, and the Pear, Caramelized Onion & Brie flatbread.

Caleb ordered Montucky Colt Snacks beer based off its unique label; the beer was mediocre but the label was outstanding. I had a Bulleit Kentucky Mule made with one of my favorite ginger beers, Barrit’s.

Fonda Frontera Wicker Park, Chicago, Illinois 

After scoping out spots for Monique (Ambitious Kitchen) & Tony’s wedding photos we had lunch in Wicker Park. I knew any recommendation by M would be fantastic and FF did not disappoint!

Caleb had Cochinita Pibil Tacos with a Sketchbook IPA and Tuna Extra Pale Ale. Caleb noted that the Tuna was remarkably sweet for a pale ale. I had the Chicken Milanese Torta with a side of guacamole and a Silver Tequila House Margarita on the rocks with no salt.

PS: M+T’s wedding photos are going to be out of this world! I am so excited for their big day!!
