Servings 20 treats

  • 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats not the 1-minute quick oats
  • 1/2 cup Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries or frozen, make sure they are thawed
  • A handful of Old Fashioned Oats

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Put old-fashioned oats into a blender or food processor. Place the lid on, and give it a go on high speed until the oats start to turn into powder. I didn’t let them completely blend into a dust consistency.
  • Wash the fresh strawberries and cut off all of the stems and discard.
  • Add the strawberries & eggs to the blender/food processor and set to pulse for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add Rice Krispies Cereal and pulse for 30 seconds. I like to leave some of the Krispies “un-crunched”.
  • Add a handful of Old Fashioned Oats to the mixture and stir with a spoon.
  • Scoop spoonfuls into your silicone baking sheet and press down to fill the molds. I used this one for the dog Bones & Paws shapes and this one for the Easter Eggs & Bunnies.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until very lightly browned on the top.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Allow to cool completely before serving to your dog. Cover and store leftovers at room temperature.
