Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 6 oz Plain Greek Yogurt (No Sugar Added)
  • 2 Cups Fresh Pineapple (not canned)

Instructions

  • Put pineapple, greek yogurt, and refined coconut oil into a blender until smooth
  • Pour into silicone ice cube mold trays and freeze for 3 hours or until they are set. Pro Tip: The silicone tray is flimsy, so I like to put my silicon on a cookie sheet or cutting board and then pour the liquid. Putting it on a stiff tray makes it easier to move it into the freezer. *Don't be afraid to add water if your smoothie is too thick or won't fully blend. High powered blenders tend to blend fruit easily, so if you have a regular or personal-size blender, you may need to add a tiny bit of water.
  • Pop-out of the tray and treat your doggy! Store treats in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

These treats can be messy so I recommend giving them to your dog outside. They are basically small popsicles just like the ice pops we all ate as kids. They melt and can make a mess. Even though these treats are so cute for Halloween, I make them and give them to Kenzo + Vík during the hot summer days to help prevent heatstroke.
