Do you love Tarantino movies?

I do! And I also love Mia Wallace. She’s one of the most iconic characters in film history and her style is so cool. If you want to dress up as a Tarantino character this Halloween, then you should totally be Mia Wallace!

I’ve found everything you need for your Mia Wallace costume: including a wig, white shirt, and fake blood! It’s perfect if you’re looking for something easy that will still make people say “Wow!” when they see it on the street or at the party.

My Costume for Pulp Fiction Mia Wallace in the Diner Scene

1) Short Bob Wig with Bangs Synthetic Hair

I found a costume wig on amazon and I chose this one based on the reviews. I did trim the bangs just a little to make it match the shorter length of hers.

2) White Button Blouse

Nothing crazy here, just a white button-down blouse. I found mine at Kohls in the women’s department. They also sell them at Amazon, if you’re looking for something on Prime.

I loved this explanation of her white blouse from Betsy Heimann, the costume designer of Pulp Fiction, “So I envisioned her sitting there having the milkshake with Vincent, being a little seductive with that black wig. Quentin’s vision was that Mia would look like the old silent movie star, which she very much did, of course, and I’m thinking, ‘Well, you want a little cleavage.’ We also want to see, if it happens naturally, the bandeau top underneath. Because later Vincent’s gonna rip that shirt off and plunge the needle into her.”

I love Tarantino movies and ironically this October 2019 marked the 25th anniversary of the release of Pulp Fiction. That being such an impressive anniversary, I figured dressing up at Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega would be the perfect costumes for Caleb and me this Halloween! Here is Us as Mia Wallace + Vincent Vega; October 26, 2019, heading to Kayla + Todd’s Halloween Open House party!

3) Mia Wallace Cufflinks

Did you know she wore cufflinks? She does.

4) Ankle Length Black Pants

I found a pair of youth bootcut leggings at Kohls and they worked perfectly. You can also buy a pair of women’s bootcut leggings and trim them so they are just above the ankles.

5) It’s So Long Mascara

Cruelty-free and it is hypoallergenic – I love this Elizabeth Mott mascara and I love it even more than its part of Amazon Prime!

6) Bobbi Brown High Barre Eye Shadow Palette Holiday 12 Shades Palette

I just played around and blended various shades from my palette.

7) Dark Red Nail Polish

OPI Red nail polish is identical to what Mia wears in the movie.

9) Velvet Red Lipstick

I think Mia’s lip color in the diner scene is more of a rusty red, rather than a true red. I found this long-lasting lipstick and I might even wear it when I’m not being Mia.

9) Fake Blood

Mia overdoses on Heroin and gets a bloody nose. More blood is coming out of her right nostril and there is just a little bit in her left. I liked this fake blood because it coagulates like real blood and it was easy to clean off.

10) Gold Slippers

I ordered mine on Amazon. They are the Amazon Essentials brand and are super comfortable – way better of a shoe than I imagined. *Most people think that Mia wears black high heels at the diner, but she is actually wearing a pair of Chanel gold flats. She does wear black shoes in the movie posters though.

11) Paisley Bralette

She also wears a paisley print bralette, but I live in Wisconsin and is COLD here, so I just wore a black bralette with a black tank underneath the white blouse.
