Arizona Biltmore – A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Caleb and I stayed here when we photographed a wedding in November of 2019. We stayed a few days to enjoy the weather and the hotel. We spent the majority of our time at the Catalina Pool. The Catalina Pool was built in 1930 by Wrigley. It has hosted diving competitions, fashion shows, and vibrant social events and is known to have been a favorite of Marilyn Monroe. Peaceful and beautiful; this pool features colorful tiles from California’s Catalina Island.

Trunk Hotel – A Minimalist’s Dream
This dreamy hotel is for all of the minimalist design junkies. The Trunk Hotel is located in the center of Tokyo’s fashionable Shibuya neighborhood offers a truly Japanese experience with upcycled furnishings and contemporary artworks. They also have their own gift shop store offering Tokyo-made keepsakes, locally sourced honey and craft beer, and more.
Their site boasts that it is a boutique hotel for all people who are living the €œnow€, and whose desires are to €œbe of help to someone and to do something for a reason€.

Parker – The Prime Palm Springs Getaway
Easy-going essence with laid back luxury: I don’t know how else to describe the vibe of this hotel. I am without a doubt adding this hotel to my bucket list because the Parker hotel is full of midcentury modern aesthetics and their website practically has me drooling.. Psst… to anyone reading this, they sell gift cards. 😉
Deserts and pools make good company — they are each other’s perfect compliment. The Parker is located in the heart of Palm Springs and has 3 gorgeous pools on their property! Eat, drink, make merry, and repeat.

Dorado Beach – A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Dorado, Puerto Rico has always been on my mind and this hotel just makes me want to visit even more. Dorado Beach was built on the former Laurance Rockefeller estate and is surrounded by 1,400 acres of verdant vegetation and nature trails.
Dorado Beach’s 100 quietly luxurious guest rooms and 14 suites directly on the beach. Dedicated butlers, a five-acre spa, and two oceanview pools this hotel is truly a 1920s gem. It doesn’t get much better than that!
