I’ve been in love with floating shelves for awhile. I have a set in my home office with vintage cameras and we have one in our foyer with hooks on it for the dog leashes and our hats.

Just recently, I’ve become attracted to floating shelves in other rooms, specifically in the kitchen and living room. I love that floating shelves have a strong horizontal line and add an element of balance to any space. If they are decorated and organized correctly they can be both functional and beautiful. Win-Win.
