This is my online journal and I am sharing some thoughts today.
It’s Friday and I am having just the greatest day in comparison to a lot of days I’ve had recently. I don’t want to dwell on the negative, so today I am only sharing the good parts!
I started my morning eating homemade breakfast with Caleb. He made us egg and caramelized onion bagel breakfast sandwiches with iced coffee from Anodyne.
Then I headed to the studio for buy 4th session of the week, but this session was not for portraits or branding content, it was a session for the new packaging and promotion of a new Dockatot product release! Guys! I cannot believe this is my life. I’ve worked so hard to create successful relationships with other brands and I am so proud of myself for doing so.
**How incredible that this is a Scandinavian baby lounger … and I am absolutely obsessed with everything and anything Scandinavian!?!?!Â
It’s amazing how the universe brings back what you put out. Â It’s pretty crazy how in both work, and life, you draw in like minded things.
Towards the end of last year, I called Caleb over lunch and said, “I am setting a goal, that I will make (no less) than an additional 10k each month solely from work beyond weddings.” Whelp, folks, I am proud to say I have consistently booked enough family sessions, brand sessions, product photography, commercial work, and affiliate commission to meet my goal. Once again, it’s amazing how the universe brings back what you put out. I am so excited because I am nearly there for February, it is only the 8th of the month!
I am not sharing this to brag – I am simply giving myself permission to be proud of myself. I am giving myself permission to congratulate myself on my successes and wins. As I talk about in the podcast all the time, I am on a constant battle of dealing with anxiety and allowing myself to respect and value myself as much as I do others.
What else . . .Â
I took time today to update my Society 6 shop – which I have not done in an extremely long time. I love that site so much because it is really great for gift giving and putting my artwork and photography from Iceland to good use! (Pictured below)
Caleb and I wrote a blog post in honor of National Pizza Day! We tried so much pizza this week and then rounded-up our Top Pizza Places in Bay View Milwaukee.
I am currently working on another project with West Elm.
I am going to be releasing some educational material very soon!
Caleb and I are heading to Arizona for some R&R over Spring Break with our friends Jess & Chris in a little over a month!
Alrighty, thats all for now!
