Do you know how to use your LinkedIn profile as a lead magnet to attract the right audience?

If you want to attract the right audience as a professional or business; you are probably losing out if you haven’t optimized your LinkedIn profile to attract quality prospect leads.

There are over 65 million business professionals from around the world on LinkedIn and people are creating a profile every couple of minutes.

I started focusing on my visitor views & behaviors taken from my LinkedIn profile. After following the trends for a few months I was able to use it to benefit my business.

However, even as you seek to learn how to use your LinkedIn profile as a lead magnet; it is imperative that you know that your audience is seeking for solutions to their problems, rather than being sold to. In optimizing LinkedIn for your business, you need to resonate with your target audience and subtly appeal as the solution to their problems.

Optimize LinkedIn for Your Business

My Tips for Optimizing LinkedIn for Your Business

1. Display a Branded Image on Your Background

Most LinkedIn profiles either don’t have a background photo or have one that is totally unrelated to what they do. Displaying the company’s logo, a photo, and a well thought out value pitch would greatly benefit your business.

2. Have a Bold Attention-Grabbing Headline

The most common mistake that most people make is leaving the headline in its default setting. It is critical that you customize this highly visible marketing statement by stating what value you add to your clients. Remember to keep it short and impactful.

3. Include Your Value Pitch in the Summary

Your summary should focus on what you bring to the table as an expert in your industry. Remember to include a mix of keywords that your target audience could be using in their search and include a call to action at the end.

4. Smart Use of Available Sales Tools

One of the most potent sales tools you can use on your LinkedIn profile are client recommendations. You can also make use of diverse multi-media content on your profile. These can be links to landing pages, videos, or blog posts.

Being an active member of the LinkedIn community (sending DMs, posting regularly, and joining groups) are all easy ways to get your name & business seen and heard by others. Optimizing LinkedIn for your business will take your business to the next level. Give it a try and see!
